If you are looking for a unique item of furniture or wood carving to grace your living room or your garden, look no further. All my tables and chairs are handcrafted using traditional techniques to create individual sculpted furniture to cherish for a lifetime.

 

Having learnt the techniques for making "bush furniture" in Australia I have now set up amongst the high deciduous forests of  western brittany. The majority of the pieces use the principal decidous forest trees of this area, namely Sweet Chestnut, Beech , Oak and Hazel .

 

No two items are the same. My aim is to create a piece of functional art which will be admired and loved but most of all used. Browse the photos of some example pieces and contact me by email to discuss your needs.

 

Carvings vary but I aim to show the origin of the wood often leaving some bark or trunk.

Rustic and robust, all my work is now made from solid hardwood found growing in brittany. Many items use wood destined to be burnt as fuel. ( although some examples shown here may have used australian hardwoods.)
